There a new kind of rap/rock with simple beats that hearken back to late 80's early 90's music.

Similar to N.E.R.D. and the beastie boys (the song 88' in particular).

I love the Wombats, the Backfire at the Disco is awesome, but "Moving to New York" is just as great. I also want to recommend the Pigeon Detectives, "Take Her Back", which is another fantastic British product song.
