  I work at an animal hospital and I think people getting mini cows like they would get a dog is a terrible idea! You know people will get them and have no idea how to care for them properly. Then their going to bring them to their vet when it gets sick and a small animal vet won't know what to do with it. Plus there's a shortage of veterinarians who care for cattle and other large animals so if more people get these animals it's just a strain on the system.

  Without a doubt, I'd get a mini cow.  Grass-fed beef is the tastiest beef you can get, and it's also a better quality of meat.  My parents buy shares in a grass-fed cow, and so they have 100+ lbs of meat in their fridge-sized freezer on a regular basis.  It's pretty awesome.
